Engineering teams
Organisations of AI agents with defined roles that pick up a Jira epic and carry it through to a reviewed pull request, green CI and a GitOps deployment.
The problem
Coding assistants write fast, but a lone assistant is not a team. Without roles, without review and without a process that stops steps being skipped, you get unreviewed code, hand-rolled deployments and decisions lost across chat threads. For a business the question isn’t whether AI can write code; it’s who answers for what reaches production.
How we work
We build agent organisations that operate like an engineering department: every role has its own remit, tools and limits. Work comes in through the tracker you already use —Jira, in our case—, gets planned and assigned, and ends up as a pull request with continuous integration passing. Merges only happen once quality and product have signed off, and deployment is handled by GitOps, never by someone typing on a server.
Behind it sit eighteen years of platform engineering from the founding team: SRE, Kubernetes at scale, SLO budgets and incident command in regulated, multi-cloud environments. That is the discipline we apply to agents: service contracts that don’t break, a verified supply chain and a trail for every decision.
We don’t pitch this as an experiment. It is the organisation that builds and runs our own systems, including the website you’re reading.
What’s included
- An assessment of your development workflow, repositories and deployment.
- Roles, rules and quality gates designed around your team.
- Integration with your tracker, your code forge and your CI.
- Roll-out on real epics, working alongside your engineers.
- Ongoing operation, observability and improvement of the agent organisation.
Modules
Role-based organisation
CTO, tech lead, architecture, development, QA, product, design, security and SRE as agents with clear responsibilities and boundaries.
Jira as the front door
Move an epic to In Progress and work starts: plan, stories, assignment and progress tracked on the ticket itself.
Pull requests, always
Nothing reaches the main branch without a PR, green CI and sign-off from QA and product.
GitOps with ArgoCD
What's deployed is what's in git: every change is versioned, reviewed and reversible.
Service contract registry
Queues, routes and schemas that others consume are never renamed or removed; a breaking change ships as a new version, checked at pre-push and in CI.
Design before build
A low-fidelity mock-up at planning stage and a UX review once the story is implemented.
Secure supply chain
Images built from an approved commit, scanned for vulnerabilities and leaked secrets before publishing, with an SBOM and a signature.
Prioritisation and audited memory
A daily backlog ordering and a nightly pass that checks what the agents remember against the code that is actually running.

The Kubernetes cluster every one of our systems runs on: a resident language model split across two DGX Spark units, image generation on a separate GPU, voice, memory and observability, all under GitOps.
